just thought I'd post the few songs that gave me at least a little comfort...

------------------------------

Little Big Town - Wounded

You plowed over me like a tractor,
And you, used me up and put me out to pasture,
Well I'm left to eat your dust,
Guess you're thinkin' that we must be done,
And you, said you got my back every minuet,
Well you do *you do*,
You got it there to put your dagger in it,
And knowin' what I need, still you stood and watched me bleed,

(chorus)
Wounded, I'm wounded,
I'm battered, and broken, and bruised,
Wounded, I'm wounded,
All tore up inside over you,
Just wonderin' why you do me like you do,
(/chorus)

I feel betrayed and so minipulated,
I call a spade a spade, you called me jaded,
Whell whadda you expect,
You gimme no respect,

(chorus)

(guitar solo)

Well this monkey on my back,
Has stopped me in my tracks,

(chorus x2)

Wonderin' why you do me like you do

Wounded, I'm wounded...

----------------------------------

Little Big Town - Lost

I don't know who I am,
Staring at a million broken peices here,
I don't know where I stand,
While I'm still, the world goes round, so free, so cavalier,
Aimlessly I wander, like a drifter on a narrow, winding road,
I've got plenty of direction, but I don't know where to go,

(chorus)
I'm so lost without you,
I'm so lost without you,
Baby, I'm so lost without you,
That I can't find myself,
(x2)
(/chorus)

No it don't seem right, this canyon of lonely lying in our bed,
Lord, how I've cried a waterfall of tears until my eyes turn red,
Ever since you've left me it's been like a bullet through my heart,
And I know I should move on, but I don't know where to start,

(chorus)

Ever since you've left me it's been like a bullet through my heart,
And I know I should move on, but I don't know where to start,

(chorus)

--------------------------------------

Little Big Town - Stay

How can I bear to wake up and you're not there,
What will I do when I turn and reach for you,
I'll lay my tears on the windowsill,
I'll only cry till I get over you,
But how long will it take me,
Won't you save me...and,

(chorus)
Stay,
Just a little bit longer,
Till I'm a little bit stronger to take all this,
Stay,
Just a little more time,
Till I can find a way,
Please stay,
(/chorus)

Will I ever smile again,
When losing love takes my best friend,
To wonder where, wonder how,
Wonder what you're doing,
One more night, just before you break me,
Hold me safely,

(chorus)

So I'll be a big girl, and close my eyes,
As you walk away, don't say good bye,
God save me,
Please won't you,

(chorus)

--------------------------------

Little Big Town - Live with Lonesome

Hear the train in the distance,
Such a lonely sound it makes,
When it's gone there is silence,
You can hear the sound of my heart break,
See these arms, now they're empty,
Cause they used to hold onda you,
I said I'd never let go,
But somehow you slipped on through,

(chorus)
Now, I know that’s how love goes,
When love goes away,

I'm gonna cry some,
Then I'm gonna lay here and die some,
All because I know there ain't no one else,
Baby if I can't live with you,
Guess I'll have to,
Live with lonesome,
(/chorus)

There's a prayer that I'm prayin',
There's a dream that I always will dream,
And the hope keeps me waiting,
For the day when you come back to me,
It's a curse and a blessing,
To find love above all the rest,
Now I'd rather have nothin',
Than to settle for less,

(chorus)

(guitar solo)

(chorus)

Live with Lonesome...

-----------------------------

they helped for the time...

What I have found out with life is NOT to have a relationship or marraige. Now, I know this sounds confusing, but if you have been through some hard times it'll be because one or the other will be attacking from every corner possible, verbally at first then increasingly violently. Notable ones are when you watch dramas with "Domestic Violence" and soaps sometimes does it as well.

I also think that if people are stressed out is to walk away or don't contact them a few months. My friend from secondary school was very stressed out in September going to college, and I thought it would be best to stay away from him, eg. not going out or contacting him whatsoever. I talk to him a few days ago via phone and I'm glad he's getting better and he's glad that I'm still contacting him.

Which brings me back to 'Romance'... I would not want to engage a relationship with anyone. ever. Why? the reason is they'll backstab you with pointless arguments and even worse, sleep with ANOTHER person behind your back and then you could be in debt for a long duration unless you know someone who could help...

All I am thinking of is to stay away from romance, have a couple of friends online and closeby, and you'll get on with life just fine. Unless you spend money 7 times a week or more which i'd advise you to WATCH YOUR BALANCE!

Dont dwell on it too much Storm, it hurts sure but thats why they are called crushes. When someone is already dating someone you should kind of know what to expect. Sometimes confessing your feelings for them is not the best way of going around things. Unless perhaps they are showing different signs. Even then you do not want to get with someone who dumps the person they are with to get with you, shows how weak they are when it comes to commitment.

Another thing is that relationships at that age dont ever last past a few months, if even a week. I used to always laugh when I saw people together in middleschool holding hands, kissing etc. Just try to keep him as a friend, but dont make him out to be greater than what he really is. He is just one guy. You are still young, and hell the opposite sex never really can be fully understood.

I think its important to remember that Storm is still fairly young. The whole sleeping behind someones back is hopefully not an issue for her yet. Plus it sounds like there are other personal issues that you are dealing with.

Not everyone is a violent person that will backstab you or do any of those other things. I have seen plenty of relationships work. My parents, grandparents, and all my immediate family have stayed together. It is possible, you just have to be patient and have good judgement when it comes to commiting. Just dont be a sucker and fall for the first person that compliments you. Its hard, but be patient and try to find someone that is a geniunely good person.

@ Polloloco: You have a good point, and made me laugh all at the same time! *coughputitbackupcough*

He's alright with it though, we still engage in friendly conversation, and we still joke and pal around.

Again I'll thank everyone for their thoughts!

I dont know about love yet, I definately enjoy her company and that to me is the important thing right now. I went through some tough periods during my recent years, I guess trying to find out alot about who I was and what kind of person I was becoming. I lost contact with alot of friends and its tough going through college, and life, without friends. Sure I have my parents, but doing things on your own can be, well lonely.

I just would have never expected this girl to talk to me when I first saw her, I was more of the silent alone type of person back then. Not confident in myself when it came to women I felt attracted to. Sure I was the funny guy in groups, but when it came down to talking with girls it felt ackward.

The thing is I kept my options open and started hanging around my old friends again alot more, while taking up some good habbits. I also found that talking to women like human beings helps too

^ @ Storm

Thats awesome, and thats really the important thing is to just enjoy that person you are with. Im sure there have probably been people that have felt the same way about ya. Just remember to be YOURSELF and things will fall into play.

Id put it back up but I thought it was too bloggish and didnt want to highjack your thread ^^. Im glad you got to read Storm, and hell you too skullcrasher. Glad it provided a few lighthearted laughs, and hope it at least provided some perhaps insight.

Hey it's ok, but I just don't like it to be a "Oh I've been seeing ???? online since ??/??/???? and were doing great" only to find out about dodgy things like what I said above. What I'm thinking of is give it a few months, 2 years max as their friends and if they love you then then it would be the best time to do so.

Yes, I'm single... yes I'm lonely but I just want to get a good job before jumping in at the deep end only to find that it's shallow and full of rocks where I dived in at... If anyone's interested here, just lookup the location or send me a PM here! It'll just be friendly for awhile, but maybe I'll be blushing myself in due time!

Relationships are weird and crazy at times because they're easy to predict and at other times.. well everyone goes Oh Noes! when they didn't see something coming.

Seeing that you're very young.. relationships should be the last thing to worry over... There's highschool and college, and most likely you won't be in the same college by then. =P

Me and my fiancee met online and met in real life and it was true love from there on out.. I'm 18 and I know I want to be with her for the rest of my life because I can't imagine anyone else like her who keeps me happy, smile and in wonderful all around.

Say what you want that I'm also at a young age but I have loved before and it was out of desperation and I know I'm in love. But that's me and her. We have trust and we never get tired of each other.. etc etc..

People are different like Omega if you don't mind me using you. You've had your experiences that make you skeptic and I can't blame ya. ^-^; So I can't say to you that anything you said about relatioships are NOT true.. they are unless you find the right one.. (okay done)

See I wasn't in any shape or form looking for love at the time.. it grew.. very fast on me that this girl I know is...perfect and awesome. And friend was the only thing in mind.. next thing I know I'm engaged. XD

Anyway Storm lay back off the love factor for now. He's young too and has a girl now but I doubt it will last because there's a lot of years to go by and by then when you still even talk to him or are the best of friends and you still feel the same way then yeah I can imagine something happen. But now, think of now and worry about the later...later. =) So chill have fun live your life and hang out with your buddy/crush it's not like he's avoiding ya right? So just continue on.

But on the side of 'all the years to come' I'm not going to college. Photographers don't need degree's right? And right now, I don't see a point in school, ooh yay, where am I ever going to need Geography and Algebra in my life? Thats why there are maps and calculators!

A higher education definitely helps...a lot. Sure, it's technically not required, but it's a really good investment.

storm, any chance we'll get to see a gallery of your photos?
i don't know how many photographers scan their works and compile an electronic gallery or use digital, but it would be nice to see.
